## What can be stated about this source

- The fee pays for the assessment. It is identical whether a restaurant is listed or declined, and it is not refunded on a decline. No payment affects the outcome, the position or how long an entry stays listed.
- The approval rate is published for every city and every edition: how many were assessed and how many were listed.
- Each market publishes its census, the census source and its date, so the selection rate is auditable by a third party.
- The threshold is fixed before any restaurant is scored.
- The fee covers the documentary check and the commercial licence for the emblem.
- Every listed restaurant can be removed on request, without conditions.
- The sample profiles currently published are fictional and exist to demonstrate the format.
